Frequently asked questions

How do I scan a document to PDF with my phone?

Open this page on your phone, allow the camera, and capture each page. When you're done, save them all as one PDF. No app install is needed.

What do the Document and Black & white modes do?

Document turns the photo grayscale and stretches the levels so the paper goes white and ink goes dark. Black & white adapts to uneven lighting across the page for a high-contrast scan.

Can I turn existing photos into a PDF scan?

Yes. Use Add photos or drop images on the page, and the same clean-up is applied.

Are the camera images uploaded?

No. The camera feed and captured pages stay in your browser and the PDF is built on your device.
