Free Online Text Tools

Two everyday text tools that work as you type: a word counter with character limits, reading time and top keywords, and a case converter for UPPER, Title, Sentence, camelCase, snake_case and more. Both handle Hindi and other Indian scripts, and your text stays in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Is my text sent anywhere?

No. Counting and converting happen in your browser. The last text you entered is saved in this browser's local storage so it's still there when you come back; the Clear button removes it.

Do the text tools work with Hindi?

Yes. The word counter counts a Hindi word such as नमस्ते as one word and counts characters the way a reader sees them, and it treats the danda (।) as the end of a sentence. Hindi has no capital letters, so the case converter leaves it unchanged while still joining words for snake_case or kebab-case.

Are they free?

Yes, with no sign-up and no limit on how often you use them.

Do they work offline?

Yes. Once a page has loaded it needs no connection, since everything is worked out on your device.
